“Träkronan” by the lake Stångån
Featuring prominently in the greenery by the lake Stångån, “Träkronan” completes a new attractive urban space in Linköping.
The centrally located timber building is inviting to bystanders, drawing inspiration from a nearby park. Adjustable blinds covering the generous balconies allow the building to adapt to the climate as well as change character during the winter and summer seasons.
The new building has the potential to become the crown jewel of the new lake front. A building of timber construction that changes character throughout the seasons creates a welcoming urban space for restaurants during the evening sun by the lake Stångån’s calm waters.
Throughout the project we have taken great care of the details and sought to combine inspiration of french bistros with the pale hues of nordic wood.
