Sustainability House at KTH
Royal Institute of Technology
We have designed a flexible and modern office building for KTH in Stockholm, northern Europe’s highest-ranking university within technology and engineering.
The main campus buildings were designed by architect Erik Lallerstedt and completed in 1917 to 1931, a sensitive environment with listed buildings. With restraint and well-studied detailing, the solid brick façade has its own identity, but still harmonises with its surroundings. Five stories high, containing 5,650 square metres of flexible office space for sustainability research institutions and facilities for special events. The building was inaugurated in 2017 and won Façade of the Year in 2018. The project is certified Gold by the Sweden Green Building Council.
